Privacy notice

Last updated 12 October 2026

This notice explains what yawbam.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect only what you type into a logbook, we don't track you, and you can delete your entry at any time.

What we collect when you sign a log

We don't ask for your email address, phone number, real name, age or location, and we don't create accounts.

Information collected automatically

We use no cookies on the public site, no analytics, no advertising, no social media plugins and no third-party scripts or fonts. See the cookie policy.

Why we use it

We use your entry only to show it in the logbook you signed, and the technical information only to keep the site running and protect it from abuse. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own use.

Where it's kept

The site and its database run on a server rented from Amazon Web Services in the United States. Amazon provides the hardware and does not use the data for its own purposes.

How long we keep it

Children

yawbam is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Children under 13 should sign a log only with a parent or guardian, and should never include their full name, school, address, phone number or a photo of themselves. A parent or guardian can ask us to remove any entry using the request form, and we will remove it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws. We will honour any reasonable request whatever your location.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. We won't start using your information in a new way without updating this page first.
