Accessibility
Last updated 12 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to sign a log. yawbam.com aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are listed at the top of the form and next to each field.
- Photos carry a text description. Finders can write their own when they upload one.
- Pages work at 400% zoom and on small screens, and don't rely on animation.
- The site works without JavaScript. Scripts only add conveniences such as a character count.
Known limits
Photo descriptions written by finders are optional, so some photos have only a general description.
